can I replace just a section of muffler pipe?
It is a small section that has gotten rusted out because of the clamp rusting ! It is between the Catalytic Converter and the Muffler..The rest of the exhaust looks fine except for that part at the Clamp!

yes.. cut pipe with hack saw removing about 2 or 3 inches of pipe..
get a piece of pipe slightly larger diameter ( smaller..will also do but is harder to fit)
cut the new pipe 2 or 3 inches longer than the piece you cut out..
cut the new pipe along its length for 1 inch each end. so the clamps can close up & hold it to the old pipe..
slide a clamp on each end of the old pipe where the piece is missing ..
slide new pipe into position over gap in pipe.. clamp in place..
