Smoking is a pastime with a long history. It is interesting to consider that in contrast to so many modern fads, smoking has its roots in societies that lived thousands of years ago. History
The earliest evidence for smoking comes from the ancient Chinese, Indians and Babylonians. From about 5000 BCE we see evidence of its use in religious rituals and the like.
